Hi, welcome to my site!
Hi! My name is Apurva. I'm currently a cloud engineer at Amazon Web Services in Seattle, WA, working on enterprise network infrastructure, VPC architecture, WAF, and Route 53. I studied computer science at the University of Michigan.
I grew up a bit all over the place. I spent about four and a half years living in France as a kid, attending the American School of Paris for middle school. Being surrounded by so many different cultures and perspectives early on turned me into a global affairs nerd, which carried into debate and Model UN in high school. When COVID shut down university conferences in 2020, I co-founded GLOMUN, one of the first fully online Model UN conferences (250+ attendees, featured on Best Delegate and All American MUN). I later served as Secretary General of North America on MUN Impact's global leadership team, focused on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. That SDG work is actually what inspired me to build AquaSDG recently, an AI water security tool I'm continuing to expand.
Outside of work I'm usually skiing, golfing, watching F1, reading about wine, or finding something new to add to Beli. Michigan football runs through my blood. I love meeting new people and hearing about what they're working on, so if anything here catches your eye, please don't hesitate to reach out!
